Nothing like a Water Hole in the summer...
I took the kids with my sister Janelle to visit family up in Redding. My uncles love swimming in rivers and they know all the great places to go. This one was a waterfall with a giant log you can jump off of. AJ and Sarah loved being there and exploring.

Homemade Cones
My friend April came over one night with her kids and hung out with us while both of our husbands were gone on business.

Summer Picnic
AJ and Sarah are the best of friends. Sure they have their moments like any siblings do, but for the most part they are so sweet to one another. I love listening to their conversations. They were so cute to watch eating together...

Hidden Falls
We went hiking with some friends of ours one Saturday to a place close by called Hidden Falls. It's about and mile and half hike down to the falls. It was a perfect day. We ended up staying down there for about 5 hours, playing in the water, exploring, and sun bathing. The kids were in Heaven!

SOCCER!
AJ had his first soccer season this summer...he is a natural! AJ continues to amaze me, not only in his ability do any sport with ease, but that he is so humble about it. He was so good at passing and making sure all of his team mates had a chance to kick the ball.

Six Flags
AJ and I got the chance to go to Six Flags before school started again. AJ earned his ticket in Kindergarten by reading 6 hours. He was thrilled to accomplish this and Ryan and I were so proud of him for working so hard.
